I'd love a 9-5 Aero Wagon to handle our rapidly expanding family which includes a new baby, one toddler, plus an occasional mother-in-law. I'm having trouble laying out the $38K - $40K it requires to get the Aero (we're not interested in the Linear wagon because we love the performance of the Aero). I figure the 9-5 wagon could handle my wife and children but my wife won't let me strap my mother-in-law to the roof rack (highly desirable but might result in a ticket) so I'm in minivan / SUV land. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone out there has experience with the Mazda MPV ES minivan. I could get one for around $26K with the Ford / Mazda X-plan. Seems like a great product but I've never had a minivan. We also drove the Mountaineer and Explorer SUVs but I don't want to blow my paycheck on gas and Ford's electronic stability program is not available on V-6 versions of their SUVs. Go figure...
