Dealer told me today that synthetic has a tendancy to seep from a leak site at a much faster pace than organic Dexron. Said it would be all gone before you know it and then, BAM!, no trans. But they said it is commonplace now and Saab is coming out with their own synthetic trans fluid. They confirmed it is OK to have synthetic in my trans and now we can all feel better. I'm not so sure about the initial explanation re: seepage, but I think it may have to do with Saab not having a branded synthetic to sell their customers (like Dick said).
