I agree. I moved to Toronto in 98' from Denver. Though my 86' 900T was much older, all I had to do was show my work visa and get the proper customs form filled out, get the emissions test and safety inspection done, have valid insurance for Canada, and then go to the Ministry of Transport to get plates. In the end it was very easy really, and it wasn't that expensive. I did not pay any tax, the emissions test was C$30 and the safety was another C$25. The plates weren't that much and the insurance is about the same as it was in the U.S. only in Canadian dollars. Keep the car!

BTW; The emissions test is really easy. If you are coming from Cali, it will be a breeze. My car gave some of the lowest readings they had ever had, but then Colorado has very tough emissions laws just like CA. Good luck!
