Prospective Buyer needs advice

I would appreciate frank feedback. I am a single woman who is considering buying a 9-5 sedan. I like the way it drives, but for every person who says they love their Saab, I encounter someone else who say Saabs spend more time on the service lift than other cars.I have just dealt with a Sable that has had a failed head gasket and a myriad of electrical problems. I have been reading the boards and these issues seem common with Saabs, too. Help!! I tend to come unglued when things do not work.Yes, I know all cars, even the glorified Camry wind up in service occasionally, but am I going to encounter more trouble and excess expense with a Saab. I also need reliable transportation and have no one for backup. Thanks in advance.
