Okay, so in the garage it was probably only in the low 20's. I didn't want my son to ride his bike to school, so I drove him the 1&1/2 miles instead. The car started right up with the Mobil 1, no extra cranking, ticking, or anything. Unfortunately, even in slow-moving drop-off traffic, the temp gauge only starts to budge by the time I'm back on the street. If I drive it the additional 1/3 mile to my work, it's still not even close to "warm," much less "hot." And then I'm faced with the same scenario at the end of the day. What's a good Saaber (Saabian? Saabite?) to do? Why, drive it back home, of course! Grab all the sheep hair & plastic you can find, make your best hermetic fashion statement, & astound your neighbors (& confound the strangers) by riding your bike to work. It's more fun than a barrel o'monkeys!
