conversation I find myself in every time I drive a rental. I'll be getting gas, and pull up to the wrong side of the pump, then get out, have to turn the car around, then the other people are looking at me weird, so i tell them its a rental. Then they ask what kind of car I have, i say Saab, they mention something about me not driving an 'American' car, then I can show them the plaques on the inside of the Lumina doors that say "parts from Canada, car assembled in Mexico", or vice versa. Then, while I have the satifaction of the stunned look on their face, I tell them that i'll go home and get my Acura/Honda Legend out of the garage, the one that was built in Atlanta. Sounds like a weird story, but it has happened to me 4 times, always in a Lumina.

To boot, the Lumina has cupholders, which my Saab does not, AND I always get that nasty gold color with a tan bench seat. You can't feel bad aiming for potholes in that thing. Yup, you can't go wrong with the Lumina.
