or at least inflated by the manufacturer/dealer. So, you are better off leasing new Saabs, BMW and almost all luxury or near luxury cars as well as cars with good resale values, such as most Japanese makes.
BMW or MB can afford to lease used cars, because they are perceived to have high residual values even after 6 years or so. You don't see used car leasing for Japanese cars as people do not want to drive Japanese cars that "old" as Japanese cars tend to have new models every 4-5 years.
I don't know why you want to lease a used Saab. Just get a loan and negotiate a good deal for a used Saab in good mechanical condition. If you keep the car for another 4 to 5 years, you would come out ahead of leasing.
