Everyone please calm down. I admittedly had a bad day when I wrote this (in your 20 years Vic I can't imagine it was all roses, everyone has a bad day), and I tend to have a sarcastic brand of humor, from time to time I get potty mouthed when I am worked up.

If you dig deep into what I was overarchingly attempting to get across (and why I called for the attention of parents of teens), you will see that my basic message was don't get played by your kids. I was then using some (what I think are) rather funny anecdotes from my own experience to illustrate how gullible parents can be.

Apparently my little sarcastic rant which was intended to make you chuckle has not been taken as such, and now people are calling for me to change my profession.

Every one of the stories that I shared ended up very positively, with either the parent laughing at how gullible they were, or with us finding a new way to solve the problem at hand.

And from here on out, when someone qualifies a post as a rant, please take it as simply that, and do not make a judgement of their character based on what they write. If I was being totally clearheaded when I wrote the post, do you really think I would have classified it as "ranty" when I titled it?

But I digress. I love my job and I love my Saab.
