Beware of Klasse's Sealant Glaze which has a rep of being tricky to use. AIO will apply and remove very easily. It has a light chemical polish that will remove mild oxidations and very light swirls. 6 months is about right, a year is a very long shot and only possible if your car is a garage queen.

For best results wash the car, use detailing clay to remove surface crud, the use AIO. AIO works great on wheels, too - my primary use of the product.
