Monte Carlo & XJ brochures, comments

I got both the Chevy Monte Carlo, and the Jaguar XJ catalogs in the mail yesterday (I know, I'm a dreamer). Comments on a comparison of the catalogs: The Monte Carlo was one sheet of paper, both sides, in color, no "clear" picture of the car or interior, just "fashion" shots (you know, all lights and angles and such). They gave the specs, some circles with available colors, and that was it -- way too cheap. I'm a little bummed, 200 hp and you cant get it in manual transmission? The Nascar car?
Jag, on the other hand, was a "book", with a hardcover with a 3-D leaper on the cover. It was about 40 pages. Likewise, it had no clear pictures of the car, just some stylized "fashion" shots in shades of gray. Only two interior shots, and no listing of options. Neither "catalog" was satisfying to look at.
I've driven a jag before, although not recently, anyone here drive a new monte carlo?
