Ok so funny thing happened to me today.

I had lunch with a good gal-pal of mine. We ended up behind this woman and man as we left the restaurant. The woman ended up stopping behind my '98 900 SETC (with the top down of course) and says to the guy, "So what do you think about my new car?"

My friend and I grinned at each other as the conversation ensues.

Guy: Thats not your car.
Girl: Yah it is I just got it last week!
Guy: Serious?! Thats a really sweet ride!
Me: I hit the key fob and the car goes BEEPBEEP!
Girl: (Way embarassed) OH. Thats YOUR car?
Me: Yup.
Guy: Laughing
Girl: Oh well you wanna trade cars with me?
Me: (smiling as I get in and turn the key)Maybe some other day.

So does stuff like this ever happen to any of you? Random people complimenting you on your car? People at intersections have even bothered to say something to me. And its not all men either, usually its women.

Allthough not totally random but the best was when I was golfing with a friend of my dad's and he goes to bring me to my car in the parking lot (my dad and friends use carts :( ) and I'm like, "I'm in the black convertible right here"

Dad's friend: No you're not.
Me: Hitting the key fob to open the trunk BEEPBEEPBEEP!
Dad's friend: (embarassed) Wow, nice car.
