My wife mentioned the other day that maybe we should take a Scandinavian Cruise or Tour when I retire. She is of Norwegian and Dutch ancestry, my earliest known ancestors were from Denmark. Time till retirement ranges from 15 minutes to 5 years depending on the day. My current employer offers Volvo "A Plan" discounts to all employees, and our Saabs are getting to the age that at least one should be replaced by the 5-year date, so naturally I started looking at Volvo's European Delivery Plan.

All basic car features and options MUST match those of the US Spec cars but accessories are wide open. A buyer can order their car with accessories not otherwise offered in the US. In the Accessories folder I spotted spare tires. What?!?

So I visited a Volvo owners forum and discovered that Volvos no longer are equipped with spare tires, only an aerosol can of 'Fix-a-Flat'
