Does it have the service records? The 1.8T is decent little engine - if well cared for will treat you well up to 200K miles. at 95K the timing belt is due in the next 10K - I would replace by 105K or risk it breaking and a toasted engine. That will run around $1K - usually replace the water pump while in there. I know its $1500 to $2K on the 2.7T for the timing belt job. Just something to think about when considering price. Personally I like a 5 speed manual matched to the 1.8T. The 1.8T can be a bit laggy relative to a Saab turbo with same HP. Quality of these cars is decent. The interiors hold up well. If it were me getting an 01 A4 I would probably get the 2.8 V6 - more pep with the automatic for not that much more $$$.
