CTS's have done rather well in some recent comparo tests, very competent automobile. I have customers who have both a 9-5 and a CTS and are happy with both. For me I'm just not big on the new edge styling, but it is very unique and trendy. I'm particularly critical of the interior. Someone remarked that Cadillac has made very expensive materials look very cheap. I also don't like the "tinny" feel of the doors "clank" thank you. The shapes and textures inside a CTS just don't jive for me. In todays market there just aren't any losers.
Are you sure about the "free" maintenance to 100k on the Cad. Maybe they mean maintenance free, as in no tune ups, but I do believe you have to pay for service at all time on a Cad. No "3/36" free scheduled maintenance like with the Saab.
For 100k's worth of driving the Saab sport seats would do it for me
