The sense I am getting of things is that like Saab, Audis can be a case of "I got a good one" or "I got a bad one." Having owned a bunch of Saabs, I know that to be true of our brand.
I was talking to a fella with a two year old Allroad the other day- he hasn't had a single problem. However, he traded a 60,000 mile Saab in on it- got rid of the Saab because had problem after problem!
In the end, I accept that driving any European car is going to mean I deal with more problems than something Japanese. If I'm going to experience any issues, I want to do it with a car that makes me drool every time I look at or drive it. So far, that is how I feel about the A4. I do not feel that way about the 9-3SS (no offense) and I currently own a 9-5. Will not be buying the new 9-5.
Just my two cents!
Brian
