we thought it drove OK (a leftover 2005 Legacy Outback), but the seats were narrow and hard, the ride felt jiggly after about 45 minutes, back seat room poor for anything more than a dog or a 10 year old. Our kids are 5'6" and 5'4". And the luggage area in the wagon was far too small.
We went over the Saab store and drove a CPO '02 Arc wagon. That sold us both and we then hunted for the one we wanted. Got an '03 Linear wagon for about what we'd pay for the Subie.
The Subie is nice enough, but we thought it was a closet. After an hour drive we were pleased to see the dealership. We go 4+ hours to Maine a lot and the Subie would be too painful.
