My recollection is that there are kits to do this swap, along with 3800 swaps and Northstar swaps, pretty readily available. I'd check in with FOCOA and see what the current wisdom is. Just remember that you'll probably have to worry about things like adapting accessories (like a/c & water pump) to the car.... That probably isn't so bad.
I think the killer would be the electricals.... making a pretty advanced (for its time) motor work in place of an Iron Duke doesn't sound trivial to me. You may have luck using aftermarket fuel injection, but either way, I suspect this is the major obstacle in the swap.
Oooh... keep in mind that you'll also be on the hook for coil packs. I understand they may have stuff in common with Saab DI, but I'm not sure they've evolved like DI did. Back in the day, those coil packs had something like a 50% failure rate... Ouch.
