My brother needs help with getting his 39 Imperial running. (straight eight) My dad had it in storage for the better part of the last 40 years without doing anything with it. My brother hauled it to Florida and is trying to get it started. One of the missing items is a voltage regulator, which my brother has odered, but is unsure how to install/ connect the wires when it does arive. Does anyone on this list happen to have a diagram? Or know where to get one? He's been looking for repair manuals for the car and hasn't had much luck yet. If anyone knows of an old Chrysler/Imperial club in Florida I can direct my brother too it would be much appreciated. I've been working on cars since my early teens and can usually figure things out. My brother has a good mechanical aptitude but has no experience. I would like to find photos online of the engine compartment for his model. I lurk in the 900 BB and am suprised at all the information for other topics this board has. Thanks for any help.
