the T5 might have been nicer.
I had no preconceived notions about the car. But on the whole it was small inside (I'm used to a '96 9000 CSE) and seriously underpowered. It will go fast enough and keeps up with traffic just fine, but you have to drive it hard. A nice car, but nothing to get excited about. No idea what they sell for, but the lease ad I saw on TV was $320 or something like that. Seemed like a lot for what you get. And compared to what you pay for a slightly used Saab.
But what it did do get was better gas mileage than the Sonata. The Sonata really lacks ay punch so I found myself driving it harder and the fuel mileage (according to the computer) averaged 21 in a mix of 70-80 highway and local driving. The Volvo got about 27 on the same roads. Had somewhat better seats than the Korean, too.
