I personally like the new E90 3 Series styling very much and the new 5 seems to mimic that in larger scale especially in regards to the big character line in the sides. I've never liked the sides of the current 5's. Also the cut line of the trunk on the side of the current 5's for the Bangle Butt and the 745 never did anything for me and the current E90 3's avoided that and I'm sure the upcoming 5's will too.

The E90 was more evolutionary then the revolutionary styling of the 5's that came in 2004. Credit Bangle for that. IMHO the prev 5, 98ish-03 was one of the best looking Bimmers of all time as was the previous 740 line. The new 745's did set sales records, but more because of the novelty and grandioseness than actual beauty. Controversy is free advertising.....

The back seat of the 5 could also use a dose of room as the E90 3 got.
