We have just arrived home from a roadtrip in our 2002 93. NYC-Memphis-birmingham-Atlanta-Charleston back to NY. At 80mph the computer was showing 32 mpg, 65 gave 36 and for a while we were cruising at 55 mph (around Memphis) and saw 41mpg. Two people and luggage.
On another note, we were on the NJ turnpike late last night when my Radar detector went off the scale, so I slowed down and pulled into the right lane, and waited... a minute later the device went wild again, direction arrows going everywhere, I started to think that the boggy was right on top of us (so to speak) took a good look around and sure enough a police suv was trailing in our blind spot, he slowly over took and accelerated away. I think he was enjoying the dash lightshow from the V1, probably laughing away. Anyhow soon after a couple of cars came weaving and racing by and got nabbed further down the road.
