I'm posting this for a friend who just bought this car about 6 weeks ago and has had only driven it about 2. It's been held up in the repair shop...

So, when driving, at any speeds, the steering wheel will suddenly move from the 12 o'clock position to 10 or 2. When she tries to correct it, it over-corrects itself, i.e. if it's at 10 it goes to 2 and vice versa, then it will return to 12.

She also noticed that sometimes when she is at a stoplight, the steering wheel will vibrate, but only sometimes.

Both the Ford dealer where she bought it and the Chevy dealer they've been bringing it to can't find anything wrong. They checked alignment, ps system, and steering rack, and have come up with nothing.

Any advice I can pass on to her would be great. I should add that the dealer has offered to take the car back, but she loves the car and really wants to keep it.
