My other car is a 1997 Toyota Avalon. After much hunting, and replacing all sorts of parts, I'm 95% sure the annoying thump/thwack it makes when going over bumps is the bottom of the strut bellows/boot hitting the top of the strut housing. Are these typically supposed to be attached to the strut at the top and bottom? These are attached at the top, via a sort of built in flange, the bottoms are loose. I've never run into this before...is there a fix? Thanks for any input....
