Does anybody have any updates on experiences with the 04 Malibu? I'm looking for a commuter car to use my GM card points on and have been interested in one for quite a while since I started to hear that "built on a Saab platform" line. I can tell you, it looks like a great value but it does not drive like a Saab. I might still get one though.

I've heard rumors of supplier problems and have seen some dealers with low inventory that doesn't seem to be turning over. Anybody know anything I should be concerned about? After Chevy's mystery hold on sales of Aveos for a few days I wonder if waiting for the 2nd year model might be a good idea. I wish Saab would accept the GM Card points.
