A BMW at a Miata price, what's not to like? We have an original 1st year Z3 four cylinder 5-speed, 148k miles and going strong.
Now that the latest Z4 with the convertible hard top is out, I've begun to like the dynamic Bangle inspired styling of the original Z4's. Still not real fond of the interior and gauges vs the Z3, but now that I have an X3 with similar gauges I probably am OK with that too.
Though I admire the Z4, I still like the Z3 design best, a more classic roadster vs the up to the minute edginess of the Z4.
Maybe not as good of a snow car as a FWD Saab, but it probably has traction control and you can always mount snows.
