First, I would like to thank all those that responded to my last message; I have learn a lot on this site in such a short period of time. But being thirsty for more knowledge and clarity, I have a few more question....
According to "97 aero auto," He stated that he put the t5boost4 cheat in his car w/ a 3" downpipe. He stated that he noticed a significant increase in power and drivability (http://www.saabnet.com/tsn/bb/performance/index.html?bID=99918). My question is; Do you think the downpipe or the T5boost4 made the most difference? After reading the FAQ on the T5boost4 website (http://www.t5boost4.com/t5boost4_faq.htm), the following was stated: "T5Boost4 will provide a boost increase proportional to the stock boost. Models with stock boost of .8 bar may not obtain an additional 4 PSI boost due to limitations in their T5 Trionic controls and T5Boost4." In addition, many of the messages listed on this site have stated that people have experience a notable difference after installing the 3" downpipe. I have a '95 automatic tranny 9000 CSE with .81 bar and i wonder if the T5boost4 will make any difference on my car. Which item made the difference on 97-aero-auto's car?
Put simply; Does anyone think that the T5boost4 will do anything for my car or is it a waste of money? Should I just put in a 3" downpipe and be done with this? Thanks for the help guys!
