dead shocks cause tramlining/tq steer in viggen?

My 2K viggen has 72K miles on the clock & the torque steer & tramlining has become really bad!!! I have a VRK on the car which helped however it seems to be getting a LOT worse as time goes by.
So would worn out OEM shocks cause this to happen? It kinda gets scary at times :(
