Always seemed stupid to me for the cat to be located right under the oil pan and not farther back under the drivers seat.
Is the heat there a good thing? or does it become neglagible?
THe new stainless ehaust setup looks sweat but out of my budget, moving so stripping and rebuilding car asap ( bad clutch and reverse gear)
Pulling motor out in the morning. figured id give it a cleaning, coat of paint under the hood, and powder coat/ replace the rusty parts
was looking at maptunes toys for it, and wondered if there was an affordable way to upgrade turbo, I dont know much about them. was going to break the TDO4 in half to check for cracks. I had a 900 SPG with a cracked garret. Are their different compressor wheels that could be used to get some more ponies out of it or should i wait and do a swap out latter.
Planning on a 3 " down pipe and exhaust now, bending up a new intake pipe from intercooler to throttlebody, and molding a carbon airbox ( every cold air kit i have seen/ bought seems to suck )
Eventually plan to rechip the car. but not now
Any thoughts on turbo, or atleast where to look , turbonetics semmed to only work with garret models.
Thanks much
