I just finished installing my volvo IC, really nice because unlike the 9000 IC, you don't need to cut out your tow hooks, the IC just fits right in but its still plenty large enough. I used a mix of 900, 9000 and volvo IC pipes to plumb it.
i also rotated the turbo (compressor housing) 90 degrees... i had to mod the wastegate bracket but this makes for a much better setup. with the turbo outlet pointing down, you can cut out like a foot of extra IC hose and avoid some nasty 90 degree bends.
the IC just fits right in, no cutting of the body was needed. that's why i went with the volvo instead of the 9k. they are pretty cheap at the junkyard (where at least in my area, there are much more volvo 740/760 turbos than 9k turbos).
