I looked into using a NPR intercooler for my 9000, I know they are readily available on ebay...the core dimension are definitely right (like a 2" thick stock unit) but it would require custom end tanks, which may or may not financial sense. Check with Terry, I know he did a test fit and can shed some more light on the subject.

I think Nathan's idea is very good, the flow rate is much improved, and though there is less frontal area, it is now all right out in the open instead of behind an a/c condenser and bumper support. Flow rates are tricky, but you can get a rough idea of relative flow by calculating the sq inches of the width x height. Bar and plate usually flows better, while tube and fin usually cools better for any given size.
