BOV, I don't need no stinking BOV!

I went to the autoparts store to pick up some metal hose clamps for my 20 psi recirc valve (the stock ones where plastic and didn't seem to tighten well) I asked if they had any generic k&n cones. They did, a special order that had not been picked up. A few hours later after removing the entire airbox from the fender (which had a tiny opening) and cuting and sanding some of the stock piping, I had a nice open filter. The sound is great. I really wails under full throttle and best of all, I can hear the excess boost being dumped back into the intake, it's not as loud as a bov, but it sounds great. One question though, I need about 5" more material to really get the filter in the wheel well. What should I use? I can get some flexable pipe that will seal easy, but do I need something hard that won't deform under high boost?
Thanks Chad
