the 2.0 WRX motor is not knows for any mid
the 2.5 that's in the 06 wrx/9-2, STi etc are known for mid power
Turns from probably 60mph or slower is where you can easily do 1 tire burnouts on a viggen & that's not even a modified one.
Completely disagree on a STi beating pretty much anything under $200,000 & I know these would take it
Elise, C6, C6 Z06, Viper, Atom, EVO8, most porsche's & there are others in the sub $100,000 area I am just to tired to think about them.
I was actually talking to a guy at a x-mas party who is a neighbor of a cousin of mine, he owns a subaru dealership & is into drivers schools & track events, they built a 400+HP WRX. Anyways, I asked him what he thought of the EVO8 vs STi & he said for a track car he would take a evo8 (again, he owns a soobie dealership) however if it was driven on the street dails a STi is what he would want. Stated the evo8 is just better at the track however he hasn't spent track time with the newest sti so it might change a little :) He also gave up on soobies for track cars & built a E36 for NASA racing due to it being a much better track car
