Hi Tom, actually the early Saab throttle bodies are a good candidate for an "overbore" as it removes the reduced (step) area in the middle to fit their small butterfly. This style was used in 9000's all the way to the last '98 model. Even the old 8 valve ones had the same small butterfly. Another plus to a big bore throttle body if done properly is a 7 degree butterfly angle for better throttle response and turbo spool up. Just out of curiosity what was your over bored to and did they give you what butterfly angle they use? Take care, Dave
