Well it turns out those with SPEC experience were right. It took about 850 miles of stop and go to get the clutch to the point where I'm comfortable with it. I'm told it will get even smoother. For a while I really doubted whether I wanted it or not. It still chatters a little but at least I don't have to rev it to 2500 rpms to get a smooth launch, and parking garages, and stop and go are fine now.
Now I think my master cylinder is begining to fail. the clutch sticks for a brief second at the bottom of the stroke and then pops up and taps the bottom of my foot. I ordered a new one along with the stainless clutch line since I'll be in there. I could really feel the clutch line expand to a larger diameter when my indy was pushing the clutch pedal. I'm assuming this is why I've been getting a sort of mushy and inconsistant feel. After these are installed and I put some more miles on it I'll give you another update.
One question: What would make the clutch fluid look milky? It's only two weeks old and it was dot 4.
