the NA intake cam (all OG NA intake cams are the same 2.0 & 2.1) has a slightly shorter duration & closes the intake valves a little erlyer which increases the effective compression stroke this gives more bottom
Im running a heavily ported 85 head which I removed a fair amount of material from the combustion chambers on & should act allot like a 2.1 head, Im running an NA intake cam & an 85T exhaust cam (the only exhaust cam in the OG which was diferent NA & turbo are the same aside from this cam)
I feel like the engine gained torque on the bottom with this setup & not that it hurt bottom
I did back cut & blend the valves too though which is know to increase torque
just my opinion but Id advise using the 2.1 head & intake with the intake NA intake cam I think you will find it works quite well
mabey others will share their input on this as well though
take care
