A week ago I picked my '02 Viggen and '86 SPG is jealous! My Viggen came with 4 bent rims, which even after straightening aren't perfect. I bought the car knowing I'd buy new rims for the summer. Having read all the posts about Viggen wheels, I question my thought of using them with snows in the winter. I've always had Hakka snows on my 99 Turbo and my SPG and that's made winter driving incredible...get out of the way SUVs!!!

So my questions are:
What is the widest tire I can fir on a Viggen without modifications? My rationale is aesthetics and cornering. I love the looks of the Viggen 5 spoke but also like the BBS wheels. Should I consider 18" wheels? I've heard lots of good things about the Toyo Proxies. Any wheel/tire recommendadtions? Photos would be awesome!

Secondly, any snow tires and wheel recommentations? I'd like to have alloy rims for the winter too as I like the feel so much better.

I'd love to hear from other Viggen owners....
