Yes you just answer your own question.
I autox my 9-3 with Falken Azenis 225/45/17 in all four conners. What you need to do is play with the air pressure in the front and back. You need to use a pyrometer to take the temperature in all tires and adjust the air pressure according. On a front wheel car I use 42 psi on the front and 38 in the back. I also have a huge sway bar in the rear to help the car rotate.
If you have a limit slip differential you are even better shape than people without a limit slip.
Also it help to learn how to use the left-foot for braking and never move the right foot from the accelerator pedal. You want to try to maintain weight of the car distribute during the braking.
