I would recomend going with the ECU programing from Nordic. I am realy happy with mine. Nick Taliaferro from Genuine Saab runs a really professional shop and does there importing. Before you replace springs I would be sure to upgrade the anti-roll bars front and rear or possibly just rear. Then go for poly bushings and a steering rack brace. Then go for stiffer springs upgraded dampers which will probably require you to stiffen your chassis. I know people will disagree here but I have a lot of creaking in my dash due to stiffer springs causing more body flex. I love the lower center of gravity though. (Oil pan hates it).
Any after market upgrade will affect other components its a just a matter of how much. Go in with game plan and get advice from Jak or Nick Taliaferro. They will give you honest advice you can trust. Also, Check out Kevin Yanktons 9000 and Nordic's saabs in Sweden. Their websites are great for drooling over.
You have a great car to start your project. Good luck
