I was in a local shop today, and over in the far bay was a nice pretty 9000 Aero. So I take a walk through the shop in spite of the "Employees Only" sign and take a closer look. Apparently the car was reconstructed after a front end collision and the mechanic was trying to figure out why the car wan't running properly. He was stumped. I was bent over the car telling him everything he had in the wrong place. "That vac hose goes THERE. That wire is for...hey, there's no boost controller!" Turns out the T5-equivilant to the APC solenoid was not installed yet and was in the trunk with other parts. Not to mention tons of other stuff he didn't know about. LOL.
I was there for a while and we finally figured out there was debris from the collision stuck in the throttle body. Weird.
That was my funny Saab experience of the day.
Just thought I'd share it.
