if you have the actuator bracket with the nuts holding on the actuator you can fab up a lil L bracket that bolts where the actuator bolts to the bracket & have a hole in that the spring can hook to & then the other side conects to the pin on the WG pulling it toward the actuator
if you have the type of actuator which is spot welded or whatever to the bracket I have drilled a hole in the bracket to atach the spring to on that end
at advance auto they have a pedal return sring asortment which is quite handy for this
once again I would strongly advise against cranking the WG rod way down to raise boost because by the time you get over mabey 6.5 lbs base boost you are seriously limitng the WGs travel & at that point you might as well wire the damm thing shut :-)
you need all the travel you can get for the APC to do its job working with an allready verry in efficient WG
