I have 2 9000's.An 86 9000T 2.0L US model 220300miles that I just retired after 4 yrs of alot of fun and a 92 9000T SPG 2.3L 309600 Km.The 86 was lowered and boosted the 92 was stock.I lowered the 92 and cranked up the boost last week.Never really pushed this car since getting it last year.Monday after work I needed gas so put in 94 octane to see how it would feel.At the first stop light a blue 2 door came up beside me(lowered,tinted windows,mags loud exh and loud stereo).Light turns green I push the car and beat him to the next light.My son sitting next to me says he looks mad. Light turns green and I really push the car...wow!Lit up the tires in 2nd.We were heading onto an onramp for the highway so I just kept on the gas he was close for 1st and 2nd gears I could hear his rev limiter at each of his shifts.My boost went to the top of the red and stayed there by 3rd gear he was about 5 cars behind and I was sailing away.My son told me it was an Acura RSX S.Got off the highway and came to a light and he shows up on my side waving to me to roll the window down.Yells at me what is in that thing???Honestly without thinking I looked at him then my son and said: Just a 4 cylinder and us 2.I never have laughed so hard at the look on his face.This car is a rocket and way too much fun to be a car.Have a good weekend and have fun.
