So GM and I were at the Putnam Park driver's school Saturday and Sunday. This was my second. What a great time. If you've never done a driver's school or spend time with your car on a track, the experience simply cannot be replaced.
On to my question....
My brake pedal was really soft on the drive home. It took about two pumps to near the floor before the pedal would firm up, and then all was fine. But would quickly need to be pumped again before they'd work well! What the heck? They were just fine while actually in service on the track. The drive home was somewhat concerning. What should I look for here? The fluid is ATE super blue (fresh). The pads are year old Satisfield Pro and disks are GenuineSaab slotted Brembo's. All pads have sufficient material left still (which is more than I could say for GM's, unfortunately).
Thanks for any advise. Maybe the pads are glazed or something? Oh yeah, this is an 02 9-3 SE, with Nordic Tuning stage 3!
