Hello John,
I'm planning another project with Jak soon, now that I have aquired an 88 9000 with an airflow kit on it to modify.
I'm going to keep a b202 engine that Dave kennedy of group 9 made for me a few years ago with only about 30k on it and use this for the project.
Everything else will be up to jak and what he thinks will work best.
However, I'm just trying to get everyones opinions on turbos though.
I'd like to keep driving the car around town or on the highay, so i don't want to lose functionality there...
...but i would like some high horsepower numbers at the wheels... 300 to 350 and i'd be very very happy.
A faster spooling turbo would make me happier as well.
I hear Bal bearings are't as reliable, and they're not rebuildable... but if their performance is that much greater i'm willing to take the risk. I can afford to pruchase a second one in case of turbo meltdown... but if it happened twice, i'd get something esle...
anyways... is the gt3071 dual ball bearing? what are it's specs?
