If you look at my past post,I gave a list of mods that were performed about 2 months ago to my 95 aero. He told me that he was sure that I had to be running at least 300hp to the wheels. Here's the story. I lined up with a friends 05 SRT4. 230hp/250ftlbs and it weights 2800lbs. My aero weights 4400lbs with a 200lb stereo. From a roll in 2nd, 3rd and in 4th gear pulls I pulled only a car or so.From what I'm told,is that every 1000lb weight differnce equals 100hp correct? So thats a 180hp difference and if you factor me pulling vs slight different reaction time, thats about 200hp? So my guess is that I'm running 430hp at the crank? If not from these figures I should easily be running 300whp? Just a thought I had and wanted to share. Any thoughts or corrections would be appreciated.
