No problem Ed. Let me know how you make out. I am glad to see that I am not completly crazy. I actually had a guy on the NG board ask me WHY I wanted to do that when I could just get the upgraded transmission mount. This in my opinion is a temporary fix to a bad problem. Either that or the guy is satisified with a crappy shift and the inability to add HP! Currently I am struggling with where to put my mounting brackets for the universal kit. The passenger side of the engine lends itself nicely for a bracket on my '98 900SET, but I have no GOOD place to attach the bracket on the opposide end. It looks like to firewall will be the best place, but that typically is not a very thick material to be attaching to, especially with all of the torque appied force. Look foward to hearing back from you.
