That is interesting, I start to hear my gt3071r at about 2500rpm, its at 10psi at 3k and full boost of 25+ at 4200rpm in 4th gear. Sounds like they are pretty close in spool-up. I did notice up here in Denver with your big t28, I would hear it at 2k, start pulling at 2500rpm, but not really start to go until 3200rpm and make max boost at 3700rpm or so. I have a lot more power and about a 500rpm lag factor. It is there, but in first no prob, in second, no prob, in third, you need to be careful and if you want quick response, its around 3500 to start and instant response is about 3700-4k and it will go on demand. I think this gt turbo would do a little better at sea-level. There is a guy,1oldsaabman, that says he gets full boost on his gt3071r at 3700rpm at sea-level. I think Vigge said he had full boost with same gt3071r turbo on his 2.3 motor at 3400rpm in 4th. I am planning to try and kill this 2.0 and then go with a 2.3 9000 motor. Good Luck with your project :-)
