picking a reliable HP number for C900's is about impossible due to how they are driven. IF the car isn't abused I think 250++ HP is easy however the proper fluid must be used. I think even a trans oil cooler would help even a slightly modded C900.
I blew up a few trannies with 160-200 HP & I also had one last for over 50K miles including a few drivers schools as well as probably close to 250 HP. The key is also not a big torque hit in the low RPM's :)
4 speeds are GREAT!! I am looking forward to seeing how my new 5spd compares to the 4spd it replaces. I would do about 45 in 1st, 70+ in 2nd, 110+ 3rd & supposidley 150+ in 4th. That's with a 7400 rpm tedline :)
I think there are a few different primary gears available however I do not know exactly what the RPM/speed difference is between the different gears
