You might still be ok at stage 3 or so, but I know once we got up to around 24psi of boost, we started to max out the stock injectors. The spool-up time is worse by around 500rpm most people say. In the summer when its hot and the density altitude is high, like 9000' or more, we lose a good chunk of power and torque. When its nice and cool or even cold, it can make the density altitude around 3000' and our cars seem to run pretty darn good on those cold days. I ran some 93 octane and want to try some 100 octane. In my car it makes a big difference, it will hold boost and timing much higher into the rpm band. I had some small gains with NOS octane booster, but I want to try some 104 or something. You may need a bigger ic, that helped me a lot with the holding of boost... I know with stage 3 and viggen cross-flow ic, I had one good wot pull in third gear, then it would start to drop and be fluctuating by the third back to back pull... My larger 24"3.5"x8" ic core does a much better job. Your ic will also loose efficieny up here, so you may not be able to hold boost as high and as long up here without upgrading that part. Higher octane will help, but do you want to run that all the time? You should have it checked on a wide-band air fuel meter, either a dyno or scan-tool at a shop. Its better to find out and be sure then be running lean. There was a guy with nordic stage 3 on his viggen at sea-level running close to 14/1...! I would get it checked, the whole safe than sorry thing... Good Luck, John
