Well, I took my SPG to putnum park for a 2 day drivers school

Checked in friday night & they threw me in the A group which is the most experienced drivers. I was happy to be there untill I saw... carerra GT in my group. WOW... that thing is simply amazing & to be able to follow him & have him fly by me was just amazing even though I couldn't hear him :(

Anyways, day 1 started with coolant overflowing as I was in turn 5 causing me to go offroad, the airflow kit wasn't touched :)

The next session I warm the car up & give it some gas & it dies for a second then behaves OK. As it turs out I was hitting 30-35 PSI (car is tuned for 30 PSI but set to 21.3) & it ended up being the vac line t going into the external wg melted shut. So I fixed it & went out in the 3rd session.

The 3rd was fine for about 28 minute (30 minute session) when the same problem arose with the 30+ PSI going on. The replacement fitting melted however I was able to wrap high temp heat stuff on it with a hose clamp & it worked fine.

The next 5 sessions (1 sat & 4 sunday) all went GREAT with zero issues!!! I had probably 15 people come up to me stating how great the car looked & sounded (external wg dumped to atmosphere) & they were very impressed with what I was able to hang with & so was I :)

The last 2 sessions a new ZO6 waived be by which made my weekend

I recorded almost every session so hopefully I will throw some video footage on one of the video hosting sites.

That being said my trans oil temps went to 260-280 degrees & that's WITH a trans oil cooler!! I STRONGLY suggest ANY C900 owner who lives in a hot climate or does track events with their car to make a oil cooler. It must be close to 400 degrees in there w/o the trans oil cooler. I also wonder if that same stuff should be used on the newer saab's that are taken to the track.
