I haven't tried this-heard it from a Nissan booster, but in theory it should work -- get some PVC that can be fit to the intake side, and cap it with a fitting that will attach to a pressurized air source. Block off the other end of the system, so air won't escape. Pressurize the system with air -- just enough to keep it at low pressure like 5-10 psi and use a spray bottle of soapy water around the connections -- watch for bubbles. If it leaks at low pressure, then fix the leak, and bump up the pressure gradually until you reach your boost pressure goal.
